Windows XP Setup (Category View) - Dial-up

If you are using Classic View, click here.

1. Click Start, then click Control Panel


If you are using Classic View, click here.

2. Click on Network and Internet Connections (Catagory View)

3. Click “Set up or change your Internet connection” (Category View)



4. Under the Connections tab, click the Setup button



5. Click the Next button




6. Select Connect to the Internet
7. Click the Next button




8. Select “Set up my connection manually”
9. Click the Next button




10. Select “Connect using a dial-up modem”
11. Click the Next button




12. Type in AceWeb
13. Click the Next button




14. Type in the local access number
15. Click the Next button




16. Select either option, then click the Next button (optional based on Windows configuration)



17. Type in your username and password in the appropriate fields. (Be sure to put “@aceweb.com” after your username)




18. Check the box that says "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
19. Click the Finish button




20. Double click on the newly created AceWeb icon located on your desktop.

21. Click the Dial button to connect to the internet.
